PATIENT PERSPECTIVE
Built from lived experience
Why Gerenet Health Exists

Building the bridge between patients,
providers, and better technology.

Too often, healthcare innovation is developed without enough direct patient input. Gerenet Health was created to help close that gap by connecting real-world patient perspective with providers, clinical teams, grant partners, and healthcare organizations ready to improve care delivery.

Our founder is not a researcher studying dialysis from a distance. He is a current long term hemodialysis patient with a background in consulting, technology, and people experience leadership who built this because the gap he experienced firsthand was too significant to ignore.

"We believe innovation works best when patients are not an afterthought, but a starting point."

That rare combination, lived experience plus professional capability is what Gerenet Health brings to every partnership, pilot, and conversation.

Where the gap exists
  • Too many patients hear terms they do not understand during treatment
  • Communication breakdowns occur at every point in the care cycle
  • Tools designed without patient input often go unused
  • Providers need practical solutions, not theoretical frameworks
  • Engagement, retention, and satisfaction suffer when patients feel unheard
  • Innovation built from lived experience creates sharper relevance
  • Patient-informed design reduces implementation friction
  • The patient perspective is underrepresented in health technology development
What We Do

Three core pathways to better care delivery.

Each pathway is grounded in the same foundation of patient experience that actually happened, translated into practical solutions that can be measured.

🤝
Pathway 01
Clinical Partnerships
We want to collaborate with healthcare organizations seeking to improve communication, engagement, workflow experience, and patient centered outcomes.
  • Dialysis patient engagement initiatives
  • Patient experience improvement programs
  • Communication tools for treatment settings
  • Digital wellness companion pilots
  • Feedback-informed workflow improvements
  • Advisory insight from lived experience
📋
Pathway 02
Grant Development
We want to work with mission-aligned organizations for funding opportunities supporting innovation, equity, patient empowerment, and chronic disease improvement.
  • Kidney health innovation grants
  • Digital health equity funding
  • Chronic disease support programs
  • Patient engagement technology
  • Community-centered healthcare initiatives
  • Patient-centered narrative positioning
🚀
Pathway 03
Pilot Programs
Launch real-world pilots testing practical patient centered solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • ChaircAlm patient engagement pilot
  • Patient communication improvement pilot
  • New patient onboarding confidence pilot
  • Treatment-day experience pilot
  • Family and caregiver support pilot
  • Patient education adoption pilot
Our Difference

Where patient insight meets healthcare innovation.

Gerenet Health is informed by direct lived experience inside long-term hemodialysis care settings. No research team. Just daily observation.

That means we understand what patients actually experience: where communication breaks down, what tools get ignored, what support patients actually need, and where providers need practical solutions rather than theoretical frameworks.

This creates sharper innovation with stronger relevance. In healthcare, relevance is the difference between a tool that gets used and one that does not.

Our founder also serves as a member of his dialysis patient advisory board and brings a professional background in consulting, technology, and people experience leadership. The combination is rare and valuable.

🪑
Lived experience inside the treatment chair
Current long-term hemodialysis patient. Not a former patient, not a caregiver, not a researcher. Someone sitting in that chair right now.
💡
Understanding of what patients actually miss
Years of listening to fellow patients, observing treatment floors, and identifying the same gaps across conversations.
🔧
Professional technology and consulting background
Systems thinking, people experience leadership, and technology implementation applied to a problem most builders have never personally faced.
📊
Patient advisory board participation
Active participation in structured advocacy settings. Institutional perspective combined with lived insight.
🎯
Innovation empathy that data alone cannot provide
Understanding why patients disengage, what language lands, and what solutions feel authentic versus designed from a distance.

Measurable outcomes. Scalable model.
