Accessibility Statement

ChairCalm is committed to accessible design for all patients, including those with disabilities.

ChairCalm serves dialysis patients, many of whom live with conditions that affect vision, hearing, mobility, and cognition. Accessibility is not optional for us — it is part of the mission.

Our Commitment

GereNetCo LLC is committed to ensuring that ChairCalm and Patient Advocate One are accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards where technically feasible.

Current Accessibility Features

Audio content: Patient Advocate One includes an audio library (Listen & Learn) so all educational content can be heard rather than read, benefiting patients with visual impairments or reading difficulties.
Bilingual content: All audio and most written content is available in English and Spanish.
Responsive design: All pages are designed for mobile, tablet, and desktop use.
Readable typography: Font sizes, contrast ratios, and line spacing are designed for readability in low-light environments including dialysis treatment rooms.
Semantic HTML: Pages use semantic markup to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
Keyboard navigation: Core features can be accessed via keyboard navigation.

Known Limitations

ChairCalm is a beta product in active development. Some features may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to improve accessibility across all features.

Current known limitations include:

Some admin-only interfaces have limited screen reader optimization
Audio transcripts are not yet available for all Listen & Learn content (in progress)
Some complex interactive charts may not be fully accessible

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time task. We conduct accessibility reviews as part of our development process and will continue to improve as standards evolve and as we receive feedback from patients and users.
