Gerenet LLC was founded by a hemodialysis patient who has been receiving treatment three times each week since 2021 while awaiting a kidney transplant. These tools were not built from research alone. They were built from lived experience, from the dialysis chair, and from years of observing what patients needed but often did not have access to.

Every product decision begins with a simple belief: patients deserve tools that help them better understand their treatment, communicate concerns, stay engaged in their care, and feel less alone throughout their journey.

ChairCalm was created to improve treatment day awareness, patient engagement, symptom tracking, caregiver communication, and confidence during dialysis treatments.

Patient Advocate One was created to provide trusted educational resources in plain language so patients and families can better understand kidney disease, dialysis, and the questions they should feel empowered to ask.

The founder also serves on patient advisory initiatives and continues to advocate for greater patient involvement in the design of healthcare solutions. Meaningful progress happens when patients are active participants in the conversation.
